Founded by Megan Umlauf after over a decade of working with candidates at the Federal, State, and local levels, Cardinal Contact is a full-service campaign consulting firm capable of providing the expertise and strategic guidance necessary to assist your campaign team navigate the election cycle and position your campaign for victory.
Megan Umlauf

When working with Cardinal Contact candidates and campaign teams can expect to work directly with Megan Umlauf, Principal Consultant.
Megan began her career in Republican campaigns leading voter identification and turn-out operations in Hamilton County, Indiana as a part of Governor Mitch Daniels's 2008 re-election campaign. Over the past sixteen years, Megan has acquired experience at every level of political campaigns ranging from town council to US Senate. Throughout her career, Megan has played a role in over 80 campaigns across the Midwest, either as a full-time employee, consultant, or vendor.
A native of Lake County, Indiana, Megan is a graduate of Purdue University - Calumet, where she studied political science and communication. Megan is an alumna of the Richard G. Lugar Excellence in Public Service Series. She lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with her husband and their two children.
